Three years ago, Sudheshna lost her husband and was left to raise three children alone. With no one to turn to, she struggled daily with grief, discouragement, and the overwhelming question: “Who will take care of us?”
Her life began to change when one of our missionaries and his wife visited her home. They listened with compassion and shared God’s promise: “The LORD is a father to the fatherless, a defender of widows” (Psalm 68:5). Their encouragement brought comfort to her heart and sparked a new hope in Jesus.
As the missionary family continued to walk alongside her, Sudheshna’s faith grew. God’s provision soon became evident—through the Indian Government’s PMAY housing scheme, she received a home for her family. Determined to secure her children’s future, she travelled to Tamil Nadu to earn additional income, working tirelessly despite her hardships.
Today, Sudheshna’s journey is a testimony of resilience and God’s faithfulness. What began in despair has become a story of hope, but her family still needs prayer, encouragement, and support to continue growing in faith and stability.
