Sneha grew up in a home marked by hardship. Her father was an alcoholic, a nominal believer who often created chaos and grief and at one point had abandoned the family. Her mother, however, remained steadfast in prayer, clinging to the hope that one day her husband would return to the Lord.
When Sneha was in the 7th standard, her father did come back home, but his health quickly declined. Within two months, he passed away. The shock was so great that Sneha’s grandmother also fell ill and died a few years later. Left alone with two children, Sneha’s mother endured grief, insults, and pain, yet by God’s grace she raised them faithfully. Sneha firmly believes it was only the Lord’s strength that carried their family through those years.
As Sneha grew, she faced spiritual battles herself. Evil spirits tormented her, keeping her from prayer and fellowship. Yet through her mother’s intercession and repeated prophetic words, she surrendered to God. From that day onwards, she was delivered from Satan’s grip by the power of Jesus Christ.
Later, Sneha suffered severe stomach pain and was diagnosed with appendicitis. During surgery, she felt the Lord’s presence holding her hand, and she recovered quickly. Not long after, she was struck with kidney stones. This time, through fasting prayer with her family and the prayers of God’s servants, the stones dissolved completely. Doctors confirmed her healing, and Sneha gave all glory to Jesus.
Grateful for God’s mercy, Sneha resolved to serve Him. She stepped forward to teach Sunday school in her congregation and, with prayer, received baptism—committing her life fully to Christ.
Her journey is a testimony that no matter the darkness, the light of Jesus shines brighter. Sneha now prays that God will continue to use her in ministry, guiding her future, studies, and marriage. Her life proclaims Praise be to Jesus!
