Situ was once a responsible and peaceful man living in one of the villages in North India. Over time, he became heavily addicted to alcohol. His addiction led to frequent quarrels, violence, and conflicts with villagers and outsiders, resulting in several police cases. His behaviour brought great suffering to his family, and his wife lived in fear for their safety. The villagers had also lost hope that Situ’s life could ever change.
One day, while Situ and his wife were travelling to a nearby village, they came across one of our missionaries. As they spoke, they talked about the story of the prodigal son and the heavenly Father’s love and forgiveness. Situ that Jesus Christ can restore broken lives and give people a new beginning. Situ repented of his sins and surrendered his life to Christ. The believers prayed for him.
Today, Situ has stopped drinking and no longer quarrels with others. His remarkable transformation has become a powerful testimony throughout the village. We give all glory to God for His transforming power and grace!
