Urgent Prayer Request:
Dearly Beloved in Christ,
We request your prayer and support for one of our fellow believers in North India. After accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and Saviour, Ramesh* began sharing the Gospel among his relatives and people in nearby villages. Because of his active witness and commitment to his faith, some members of the community began viewing him as a troublemaker and as someone introducing new ideas into the village.
Ramesh owned a small piece of farmland and had purchased two oxen to help him cultivate his land and support his family through farming. On the night of 8 August 2026, some villagers reportedly took his oxen and killed them. This incident caused him severe emotional distress and resulted in the loss of important property needed for his livelihood.
Despite this painful event, Ramesh continues to stand firm in his Christian faith and remains committed to serving his own people. His situation reflects the serious cost of following Jesus in a difficult environment and the hardship faced by a poor man with limited resources.
Prayer Request and Support:
* Please pray for Ramesh, who is poor, needy, and has no other means of support. He needs God’s protection, comfort, and provision.
* Pray for peace and reconciliation within the community.
* Wisdom and protection as Ramesh continues to serve among his people.
* Assistance to replace the two oxen.
