Prayer walk that opened doors

When the Lord placed a deep burden on one of our pastors in North India and his wife to begin a new ministry in a nearby village, they started with nothing—no contacts, no meeting place, and no clear plan—only a trust that God opens doors no one can shut (Revelation 3:8). With that faith, they began regular prayer walks through the village, praying for each home, family, and person they passed, asking the Lord to reveal His love, save souls, and establish His Kingdom.

One day a curious villager approached them. After learning they were praying for the village and for those in need, he told them about his 60-year-old wife, who had long suffered severe waist pain and paralysis in her left leg, and invited them to pray for her. The couple began visiting their home regularly, praying earnestly for healing and trusting in the power of Jesus.

Week by week they witnessed God’s faithfulness. By His grace the wife was healed of chronic pain, and her paralysed leg was restored. The miracle became a powerful testimony; the grateful family opened their home to host regular first prayers. What began as simple prayer walks with no human connections became the beginning of a new ministry through God’s intervention—an open door where there had seemed to be none.

We praise God for His unfailing love, healing power, and guidance. Do continue to pray for strength for the pastor’s family and for the hosting family so that God’s glory will be revealed in the village.
