Aditi* had been married for nine years, yet she had no children. For many years, she carried this burden and pain quietly in her heart. Still, she continued to pray and longed deeply for a child.

She desired to attend every meeting where God’s name was lifted high. Whenever there was a prayer meeting, she would go if she possibly could. Last year, Aditi began spending more time in God’s Word. As she read, the Lord opened her heart, and she believed the Word of God. She started attending one of our churches regularly, and little by little, her faith grew. She became faithful in church and committed in prayer.

A few months later, a large meeting was held in Lamba Put, where the Lord’s servant, Shaji Varghese, was preaching. Aditi attended the meeting. After the message, Pastor Shaji prayed for everyone gathered there. During that time of prayer, the Holy Spirit spoke through him. He said, “There is a sister here who has been married for many years, but has no children. The Lord says that sister will become a mother.”

When Aditi heard those words, she believed them in her heart. She cried out to the Lord in the Holy Spirit, holding on to God’s promise with faith.

Today, we rejoice and give thanks because Aditi is now expecting a child. She is six months pregnant, carrying in her womb the answer to nine years of prayer. Aditi and her family now worship the Lord together with other believers. We trust that God will continue to do even greater miracles in their lives.
