I want to share my testimony about a real change God worked in my life. My name is Jeeth. I am 37 years old, and I am from Odisha. I’m married, and God has blessed me with three children—two sons and a daughter.

I was born into a religious family. People from the village used to come to my home to worship. I hated Christians and even persecuted them. I was known as a strongman in my block and a landowner with an alcohol factory, and I drank heavily. At one time I spent nearly ₹4,000 a day on alcohol. I opposed Christians; I used to steal things and rob, and there was no peace in my family.

Then I became seriously ill and was struck by paralysis. I went to many hospitals and to people who practise traditional healing and even to sorcerers who told me to sacrifice hens, goats, and other things. I spent all my wealth, but nothing helped—my sickness did not go away.

One night I had a dream in which I saw Jesus Christ. He spoke to me, but I ignored Him. Later, one of my uncles fell very sick. He went to a church for prayer and was healed. When my aunt told me that he had been healed through prayer, I too decided to pray.

Through prayer, Jesus healed me. From that day I began to believe in Jesus Christ. When my friends saw the change in my life, many of them gave up drinking.

Since I accepted Jesus, my life has been completely transformed. I left bad company and my sinful lifestyle behind. Today my family is living happily in the Lord. Please pray for me and my family.
