Sumitra’s year of suffering began quietly but quickly became unbearable. Without warning she would lose consciousness and faint several times a day. Each episode terrified her family and left them exhausted with worry for the young girl. They searched everywhere for answers—visiting doctors, following medical advice, and faithfully giving her prescribed medicines—but nothing changed. No physician could explain the cause, and hope began to fade as her condition persisted.
It was then that Sumitra’s family came to one of our Pastors and pleaded with him for prayer. The pastor and members of the congregation gathered around young Sumitra in humble, persistent prayer, believing that God could do what medicine could not.
After a week of continuous, earnest prayer, God moved in a powerful and undeniable way. The fainting stopped. Sumitra’s strength returned. Her family watched in amazement as the mystery that had plagued her life was lifted by the Lord’s healing touch.
That miracle changed more than Sumitra’s health—it changed her family’s faith. Where fear and helplessness once sat, hope and trust now grow.
We give all glory to Jesus Christ for this testimony of healing. Please continue to pray for Sumitra and her family—that their faith will deepen; that God will guard their health; and that their lives will remain a witness to His saving love.
